The Navy Extreme Undersuit is designed for divers diving for long periods of time in very cold waters, using laminated dry suits.
The material was produced on special order for the U.S. Army Special Forces Divers, in order to meet all the required parameters for long-diving in cold waters.
Insulation panels are made of a slightly thinner material with similar properties, which results in an improvement in thermal performance without excessive stiffening of the undersuit.
The Navy Extreme thermal warmer is the equivalent of the Navy warmer with a vest.
- The main advantage of Navy Extreme, apart from improved thermal insulation, is its flexibility. This is not the ‘medieval knight armour’ with which thick warmers are typically associated.
- It is very comfortable and gives you a full range of motion.
- It is easy to put on and take off, it does not roll.
- It provides very good airflow.
- It is very light, weighing less than 1.4 kg.
- Compared to traditional warmers, it allows you to reduce the ballast by at least 2 kg
- It perfectly wicks perspiration away from the body.
- It is very well impregnated anti-bacterially and does not smell.
- Even after flooding, it maintains good thermals.
- After complete flooding or washing, it dries vertically in a few hours.
- There is no limit to the number of washing cycles and it can be safely spin-dried.
- Sewn on durable flat seams, without thickening.
In the basic version, it has holes for connecting the P-valve and electric heating.
