Our story

Built in a year of change

Aqua Active started operation in 2020, a year that brought plenty of challenges and changes. Rather than let those changes hold us back, we saw an opportunity to build something new: a bridge between technical diving equipment developed abroad, in particular Poland, and UK divers who deserved access to the best of breed diving equipment.

Today, Aqua Active is a dedicated importer, distributor and reseller of technical diving equipment, bringing the best equipment from abroad to divers across the UK. We specialise in trusted brands including Tecline, Kwark, and SeaYa, with new brands added as we continue to seek out quality equipment for the technical diving community.

We believe technical divers deserve equipment they can rely on completely, especially when they are far below the surface. That is why we work closely with manufacturers who share our commitment to good engineering, dependability, and genuine value, so that every product we bring to market meets the standards divers have every right to expect.

Wojciech is the owner of Scuba-Tech in Eastcote, NW London and has spent the last 20 years as a diver, with 15 of those years working professionally within the dive industry. A qualified instructor across IANTD, BSAC, and PADI, Wojciech brings a rare depth of hands-on experience and technical knowledge to Aqua Active, ensuring that every product we import is chosen with a diver’s real world needs in mind.

Diederik Kohnhorst

15 years diving, UK and worldwide

BSAC INSTRUCTOR · IANTD ADVANCED NITROX

Diederik has been diving for 15 years and holds instructor qualifications with BSAC, alongside his certification as an IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver. His diving has taken him well beyond UK waters, including a recent three-week diving expedition along the west coast of Mexico. Diederik’s global diving experience helps keep Aqua Active connected to what divers around the world are looking for in their equipment.
